"Design is not for philosophy, its for life"
Issey Miyake

I'm Taniya Khangura (she/her)
A curious and creative designer who strongly believes in creating meaningful and fulfilling work.
My areas of interest:
UI Design
Before engaging with an experience or object, we use our sense of sight to make sense of what it is. Designing engaging visuals and aesthetics are important to my work as a designer.
Design Advocacy
Learning to understand the needs of people through research and relying this vital information in a clear and easily understandable way to the company is a skill I continue to grow.
Human-centred design
Making sure the designs reflect the mental models of the people using them, plays heavily into the reasoning of my designs.
Storytelling
This one is a work in progress, but the importance of guiding an individual through digital or physical space, or their experience with a product, is integral to making them feel connected and invested in the idea.
When I am not designing experiences, I continue to flex my creative muscles doing things I love, like...
Taking photos to capture memories; and finding inspiration wherever I go.

Travelling to local hotspots or unfamiliar countries, exploring their hidden gems and grand sights.

Drawing, Painting, or Sketching. Putting pen to paper to let out my creative energy.

A passion for fashion. This includes watching the S/S and F/W fashion week collections and incorporating sustainable design practices in my wardrobe.

Trying cuisines from around the world and cooking them at home, filling each room with their delicious aroma.
